How much does it cost to ship each kit?
Individual kits are shipped at a flat rate of $40 anywhere in the non-contiguous US states. Give us your address during checkout and the exact costs will be calculated for you. We’ve tried very hard to keep it reasonable because WE hate high shipping! No EVERYONE hates high shipping. (And don’t let us get started on “handling” — what the heck?) Anyway, shipping is discounted for multipl orders and shipping for orders over $500 is always free. Express shipping is also available for an additional fee.
What’s the return process?
Log in to your online account on our website, request a return, print your return label and send back in the original packaging. Just drop your kit/products off at your local UPS drop spot for a full refund.
Do you have a more traditional Christmas collection?
Kitoure will soon launch a more traditional Christmas-colored collection to enable our friends and families to combine their own cherished heirlooms with the Kitoure style. Rest assured, the eagerly anticipated ‘traditional’ collection will still boast an unconventional twist and elements of our signature sparkle to say the least.
Will there be other collections for other holidays and occasions.
Yes. Yes. And oh yes. Valentine’s, milestone birthdays (like baby’s first, sweet 16, and decades), baby and bridal showers, Summer Picnic (for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day), and Thanksgiving, just to name a few. Be sure to participate in our polls to help identify the most popular festive occasions and the most favorable holiday designs.
Can we use our own Christmas trees with your kits/collections?
Absolutely. Although Kitoure offers trees that are sold separately in specific colors and sizes designed to deliver on the desired look, you can also use your own trees with our kits. We recommend trees illuminated with and abundance of clear lights and are either white, evergreen flocked white, silver, and champagne and in full, slim, pencil or mini shapes and sizes. Green trees are not recomended since they are too dark to prperly display Kitoure colors.
What type of tree should I purchase for my space?
We offer trees sold separately in specific colors and sizes designed to deliver the desired look. We recommend trees illuminated with and abundance of clear lights and are either white, evergreen flocked white, silver, and champagne and in full, slim, pencil or mini shapes and sizes. For a 8-9ft. ceiling, 7.5ft. trees are perfect. For ceilings 10ft. or more, go for a tree no smaller than 9ft. and scale up as desired. In some cases we recommend multiple trees and other props to really add excitement and drama to your exhibit. Check our posts and vlogs for all our best tree tips.
Does the collection need to match my interior?
No, not at all. For most of us, the red and green of traditional Christmas colors don’t match our everyday interior décor — but Christmas and all festive occasions deserve a look you don’t see every day, right! Now, (because we’re obsessive) you will see some of our interior photos have integrated throw pillows to match our themes and we all LOVE this. If you have a neutral interior it helps to tie the holiday theme in to the entire space, so go for it —BUT IT’S NOT A NECESSITY.
Can I store my items in the origin purchase box?
Yes and no. Yes you can store a portion of them temporarily, (as in a year or so) but repacking them the way we have for transport and spacesaving will prove tedious so this is not recommended. We highly recommend our stylish and durable storage containers which protect your collections from all the elements including sun damage (fading and warping), pests, and breakage for years to come.
What’s the return policy?
Returns are free within the first 30 days. Additional fees apply thereafter.
Wil Kitoure offer decoration services in the future?
We’ve learned to never say never, but Kitoure is about providing convenient kits to mak decorating your own home for any holiday that much easier. It is, however, our desire to donate decoration services to women’s shelters in the community as soon and often as resources are availale.
