I Don’t think you’re ready..for THIS Jelly! Wild Blackberry Jelly that is!!
Every year from late July to mid August Washington state is bombarded with the ripest blackberries you ever did see. They grow like weeds in your yard, freeway ramps and embankments,local parks, and basically anywhere there is a patch of grass. The branches have very prickly small and large thorns as well as leaves that stick to you if they land on your clothes. What I realized is that it makes them hard to access by animals or birds so once you pick them you can almost eat them straight from the bush (and I see people doing this all the time–NOT I).
